There are many videos on this subject on YouTube. Notice the sales strategy at the dealership. Drag your feet until the buyer is pressured into having to complete the sale only because they have a deadline and must go.  This dealer tacked on $20,000 on warranty and fees and claimed that the bank required it.  The buyer finally signed the papers just to go home.  Ouch!!!  When you feel pressured, you are not in control of the transaction. Walk away. Always have an RV Inspector come in and inspect it and write you a detailed report. For this couple, it would have saved this couple a lot of problems. So, YES YES YES. Even if the RV is NEW, you still need an inspection.  These RVs are build one at a time by hand. No two RVs will have the same problem. Cars are built on an assembly line by machines. The final product is much more consistent and similar.    

Howard says that the RV's leave the factory 80% complete and the dealership is suppose to complete the remaining 20%.  WOW!!

The truth is that most people complaining about how they got ripped off and that their RV is falling apart on YouTube and at dealerships did not bother to get an RV inspection.  

They did not put enough value on the fact that a certified trained RV Inspector and Technician is dropping all other work to focus just on your RV for an entire workday, then produce a extensive report for you that will make you the most informed party in the sales transaction. Would you rather be complaining and haggling with the dealership or the seller, or have peace of mind and start enjoying your RV?
